While initially more expensive, we highly recommend that any surfaces that would need to be painted or sanded be made of composite, PVC or other non-wood materials. This saves money over time, reduced the need for maintenance and ensures that your deck will look amazing for decades.
Most municipalities require permits for decks over a certain height or size. We handle all permitting and inspections as part of our service.
Deck costs vary widely based on size, materials, and features. In fact, there is no “standard deck” as every one of our projects is 100% designed to our customers budget and dreams. As such, there is no fair way for us to set a cost expectation.

We hope you don’t need to! Other than normal cleanings, composite and PVC decking is intended to last for many years with no painting or sanding needed.

Absolutely. We can incorporate benches, planters, lighting, and other custom features into your deck design. If you can dream it, we can build it.
Simple repairs and maintenance such as plank repairs, sanding and painting are not our specialty. However, more complex repairs and renovations are right up our alley.
That can depend on several factors. Sometimes existing structures are no longer stable, not originally built to code or would be less expensive to replace from scratch. Other times customer’s needs or designs are so different than what their existing structure can accommodate that there is no other way.
The best time of year to build a deck isn’t really something we think about. We build decks year-round in almost any weather.
